    Hi,

    When using AAM on any of my sites with the Divi theme, when going into the Divi Role Editor I can’t edit any role created by AAM. (i.e. assign specific Divi builder permissions to role)
    I have tested this on a number of sites and also tested on a site running no plugins bar AAM and have the same result.

    Hi,

    Any feedback on my issue above? Don’t want to have to look for an alternative to AAM…

    @maginem,

    Thank you for the feedback. AAM creates all roles by using WordPress core functionality so technically any custom role that you create with AAM is not conceptually different than any default role like Editor, Contributor or Administrator. The only difference is the list of capabilities assigned to roles.

    My assumption would be that Divi theme simply has hardcoded list of roles it can work with and WordPress by default comes with Administrator, Editor, Contributor, Author and Subscriber roles.

    Regards,
    Vasyl

    Hi,

    The issue seems to have resolved after the recent AAM updates.
    Divi doesn’t hardcode the roles, as the Role Editor worked fine when testing with other user permission plugins such as User Role Editor etc.
