• Hi,

first of all, I am very happy with sportspress. It’s exactly what I was looking for.

I created player lists for the last two season. After that Icreated a list which adds the stats of these season in one list. That’s working fine so far.

Now, I wanted to add other player’s which where playing in the past for my team (hall-of-fame-style). I could manage to get them in the overall list, and I added their stats from the past.

    My problem:
I have some player in the all-time list which are still active, so their current stats are counted in the player list of the current season. These stats are added to the all-time list as well, but when I try to correct them (adding older stats), it’s not working. Well, it’s only working when adding all the apperances. But goals and assists won’t be added up.

    What’s the problem?
    Can anyone help me?

    Thanks a lot

    PS: Sorry for my english

  • Hi there!

Would you mind sending us an example of this issue. Also could you send us how you’ve set it up (maybe screenshots of your admin section)?

    PS: Your English is great!

    Kind Regards,

    Hi, thanks for you answer.

First I want to explain the background again, to make it absolutely clear. So we are talking about the same problem. If you have already understood it, just skip this part 🙂

Our team exists since a couple of years. We had an old website, on which we manually counted e.g. all the appearances of every player. Since two seasons we’re using SportsPress. It works fine. So now, I created a player list which includes every players who is in the SportsPress statistics. That works fine.
Now, I started to add new players, which are not included in a SportPress season. They are just assigned to my team and to the league (1st division). These players are also added successfully in the overall list of all the players ever played for my team. But when I change their e.g. appearances manually, they won’t be added to the already counted appearances within these two SpotsPress seasons – same happens with goals and assists.

So this is a screenshot of the admin section. Here are the values of the first three in this list.
Player #1 Martin: He isn’t in the SportsPress statistics. So I manually typed his values. It works like that.
Player #2: Matthias: He has automatic SportPress statistics from the last two seasons, e.g. 13 appearances. Please see the second screenshot.

Here you can see the values I typed in for Matthias. He has 90 appearences and 83 goals. But only his appearances are counted in the first screenshot.

Here’s the values which adds players to my “hall of fame” player list:

And here’s how it looks on the frontend:

Hi, do you think you could help me?

I have got the exact same problem with the automatic filled values.

    @roch:
Could you help us with our issue? You can ignore our German words. We could get any step further – even in German 🙂
