Hi, I realized that new viewers of our website cannot subscribe to our email list. It shows that “Your API key may be invalid, or you’ve attempted to access the wrong datacenter.” I updated the API key and it shows it is connected. Please help. We have many customers who want to receive the emails.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I don’t see a form generated by our plugin on your site. Please make sure you are using “MailChimp for WordPress” and share a link directly to the page with the form.

    Thanks for letting us know.

    Hi Shirley,

That link points to your WP Admin, which can only be viewed when logged-in to your site so we can not take a look at it.

However, if the **MailChimp for WP > MailChimp** page says it’s connected then all should be good! If you test your form now, you should be able to susbcribe.

    Cheers, Danny

    Hello,

Can you please also share a link to a page on your website where I can check the form?

Hi, this is the page you can try to subscribe. My api key shows it is connected, but i still cant add subscribers.

    Hi Shirley,

That form is not from our plugin. It’s made by another plugin, called yikes. Please replace it with our form for us to be able to provide you with support.

Inserting out form is done with shortcode on the page, like this:
    https://kb.mc4wp.com/create-your-first-form/
See the “Getting your form live” part.

I’m going to close this issue now. If you are sure you include our form in a page and it’s not working please create a new ticket here on the forum. Thanks!

Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please let us know!
