Problem with AVIF format

    Hi,
    I enabled and configured the [AVIF, WebP Converter] Support plug-in. I checked the environment – the Imagic library supports the AVIF format. In the plug-in settings I have it enabled. The plug-in converts my image files to both webp and avif formats. I checked it in the /wp-content/compressx-nextgen/ directory.

    I am using the latest Chrome browser. Unfortunately, the browser only downloads webp files; it does not download avif files. In Firefox the situation is the same.

    The .htaccess file in the /wp-content/ directory contains rewrite rules for webp and avif formats.

    Where to look for the cause of problems with avif format?
