Problem with breadcrumb

I’m using Breadcrumb NavXT and on my Events pages it replaces the parent with the page name, in effect doubling the page name in the breadcrumbs.
For example, on the Events main listing page the bread crumb looks like this:

Home > News and it is correct because i had choose to named it like this,

… but, if i go into a single event, the bread crumb look like this:

Home > <strong>Events</strong> > Event_x and not Home > <strong>News</strong> > Event_x

Someone can tell me what can i do?
