    hi!
i use platform with buddypress, but there are some problems.
admin bar appears in the footer, and is not displayed correctly, as well as user profile, and other functions BuddyPress. has anyone had similar problems?

so i have a final question: is possibile to use platform with buddypress, or is necessary to buy platform pro?

  • Just played with this for about 30 minutes, so I haven’t found the “official” way to do this.

Here’s how i got it working:

    1. copy the content of wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-themes/bp-default/_inc/css/adminbar.css to wp-content/themes/platform/css/custom.css
    2. copy the images 60pc_black.png and admin-menu-arrow.gif from wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-themes/bp-default/_inc/images/ to wp-content/themes/platform/images
    3. Have Platform use the custom.css

Now the last point is tricky. I couldn’t find how to do it using the GUI, so I hacked style.css and added @import url('css/custom.css');.

    Done.

    thanks zjuul, now works correctly…
there is only one little bug: is changed the language. BuddyPress now is in English but if I wanted to change the language in Italian?

No clue 🙂 You should open up a new forum topic and close this one.
