Problem with Checkout

    I’m new to WordPress and Woocommerce. I want to use Paypal Standard. I’ve ticked the “enable” box in the settings and entered the correct email address. When I click “proceed to checkout” on my cart page, I get an error message:

    The page isn’t redirecting properly
    Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
    This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept
    cookies.

    Cookies are NOT disabled in my browser and I can’t find anything in Woocommerce, my theme settings (Mantra) or WordPress about cookies.

    Can anyone help, please.

    Do you have some kind of SSL set up?

    No, I don’t. I didn’t think you needed SSL with Paypal Standard, since the transaction takes place on their website.

    I wasn’t asking to have you install one. I was asking because sometimes people install SSL incorrectly and it will cause this issue.

    Have you tried asking your host about this?

    Ah, good question, then, but not that. I haven’t asked my host – I’ll do that next. Thanks.

    I have an SSL on my site and am getting the same error once I click “Proceed to Checkout” SSL was added by GoDaddy to my main account, as a sub domain of our business account. Any guidance on how to fix error?
