Hi, @mnarva84. I just posted a test comment on that site, and it seemed to go through okay. So is the actual problem here that you’re not receiving the email notifications of the comments?

did you notice this warning on the top of that plugin’s page:
This plugin hasn’t been updated in over 2 years. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.
That plugin has not been updated for over three years!
What it means is that likely it’s not compatible with the 4.5.3

The problem is wp commets, which I think is not a plugin, but rather is already built in WordPress.
Maybe prune you try to comment, and if you can do it, tell me from what country you’ve done ?, which device are you using ?. Please let me know if you could make the comment?

What exactly happens when you try to post a comment yourself?
(And if you did not actually install a specific comments-related plugin, then we don’t need to worry about that; but if you did install one, then we need to know the correct name or URL of that plugin.)
When I try to post a comment, I can not, I get an error, depending on the browser.
In Microsoft edge: HTTP Error 405
In Firefox: The connection has been reset
Google Chrome: ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

Are you trying to post your comment while logged into the installation? If so, try logging out first and see if that makes any difference for you.

Hi I have a problem with comments of WordPress 4.5.3 (New Instalation)
I have a WordPress, which does not allow me to send comments, has built the company multirating ThemeEngines, after testing, I have heard that the problem is not the theme, but the problem is wordpress or Host server.
