Problem with custom theme displaying tables

We have a custom theme that was made through a company we hired. When we create a table in the visual editor using the ultimate TinyMCE plugin the table does not appear correctly on the actual page. Instead of being organized like on the visual editor it shows up in paragraph form with no table formatting what-so-ever.
