• I put the widget for VSEL on the homepage of this website but it was showing the wrong date, showing instead a day earlier (i.e for an event on the 25th MArch, the date in the widget says the 24th March)

I’ve had to remove this from the homepage as to not confuse visitors, but really want to put it back on there. How can I fix this problem?

    Hi,

My plugin uses the server date, which should be the same as the one in your Dashboard > Settings > General. Did you already take a look at that page?

    Hi Guido
Sorry it’s taken a while for me to get back on this, and sort the problem.

Still having issues. I updated the plugin and checked the server date as suggested, but it’s still showing the wrong date – a day too early for the events – when in the widget.

I have used your plugin on another site and have no issues.

Is it perhaps clashing with another plugin?

    Thank you

    Hi,

Because this topic is quite old I did not notice your response before.

The only thing I can think of is a wrong date setting in your dashboard (Settings > General), but if that’s not the case it can always be a conflict with another plugin (or even your theme). To find out you should de-activate all your plugins one by one and see what happens.
