Problem with default sorting

    After the last update, the default sorting does not work properly anymore. I place the pictures in the order I want them, but on gallery preview it show a different order and on pageview again a different order. There are gaps between images on the bottom line of pictures.

    There are 2 issues here it seems.

    1. The ordering of the images in your gallery
    2. The spacing of the images on the last row using the masonry layout.

    For 1, I will test out the image ordering to see if I can reproduce the ordering issue.

    For 2, I will have to investigate further

    Maybe good to know, I have 4 galleries and the problem occurs only with one of them.
    So probably this gallery is somehow damaged. It is the one I use most and the one that changes the most. Almost daily new images added, images removed and changing of order.
    I will make this gallery again from scratch and replace it.
    ….
    I did just that, replaced the old gallery with the new one and it looks exactly the same as the old one, same problem with the default order. Any ideas how to fix this?

    Can you try changing the gallery to Responsive Image Gallery rather than the Masonry.
    I want to figure out if the gallery template has something to do with the problem

    Hello again, I did as you asked and a strange thing happened.
    After changing to Responsive Image Gallery the order displayed was correct, both in preview and pageview.
    Then I changed the gallery back to Masonry and surprise surprise, the order now was displayed correct, also both in preview and pageview.
    For now my problem seems to be solved, but I can’t tell if this will happen again or what was the cause of the problem. Any ideas on that?

    I found out it has to do with thumb width.
    I have masonry gallery with fixed width and the thumb with set to 200.
    After changing tot responsive image gallery and back to masonry gallery, the thumb with was reset to 150. That is when all looks good, as intended.
    When I change the thumb width to 200, the error in display order occurs. Setting it back to 150 solves it.
