Yes and no.
I added the same MSlider on top of the other one but using the MSlider block.
then added a small paragraph in between to the shortcode one below.
The top looks look.
the bottom one is now weird

Adding the same slideshow on the same page twice might not work as the code will check for the ID and run functions on the first encounter, but adding two different slideshows to the same page should work fine. Does it work in that case?
Thanks for the info with the same slideshow in one post, but that is not the problem.
The problem is in the edit mode of the post.

I have noticed that for a few versions now. But instead of using the Block Metaslider, I use the block Short code. (not as nice)

Correct, in edit mode of the post. On the font end not an issue. But having several “editors” it always causes questions.

The problem is in the edit mode of the post.
I do not understand what this screenshot you are showing us is from. It looks like there is a cookie modal that is missing the stylesheet to format it.
What indicates that this is an issue with MetaSlider?
This screen also doesn’t look like the edit screen. Can you share the full page screenshot instead of a cropped version?
Are you using a page builder plugin?
The very first shows the complete edit mode of the metaslider. The big “X” is from the metaslider.
Here is no page builder plugin.

Are you sure about this? Everything in that screenshot indicates that it’s not from MetaSlider but instead from some sort of cookie consent plugin.
Can you disable other plugins on your site and try? Especially any plugins related to cookie notices?
Yes. When you select the block it puts a Box around it.
If you edit the block and choose “edit as html” it displays
<div class="alignnormal">[metaslider id=14566 cssclass=""]</div>
and the “X” is gone.

It looks more like another plugin is incorrectly running code that intercepts code that we run and injecting their own.
If you can follow my advice we can figure out what one it is. It will likely be up to them to fix their plugin though to only load their code when applicable.

Yours and theirs have both 700k installations. I will also report it there.

Since this isn’t a bug with MetaSlider specifically I’ll mark this as resolved, but I’ll follow up on their support page as needed.
