Good morning,

I have a conversion problem for google ads for products with variants.
The value of the ecomm_prodid variable sent is always the product id and not the id of the variant displayed. I have already disabled the “Treat variable products like simple products” from the settings, but the problem persists.
Can you help me?

[Required] ecomm_prodid: The Product ID must match any of the three attributes in the Google Merchant Center feed: id, item_group_id, c:drid This allows the dynamic ad to show users the exact product(s) they viewed.

In this case we use the item_group_id, witch should always be the ID of the parent item of a variable product.
