problem with Elementor and Woocommerce

    Hi,

    I have a problem on my WordPress Woocomerce Elementor shopping site. After ordering, I get to the order confirmation page. But instead of my order recap I get the empty cart message and a list of some of my products I would be interested to buy 🙁

    I have tried with the default twenty theme and it works.

    What can I do ? I event don’t know from where to start.

    Hi @fronkj,

    I can see you’re experiencing an issue where the order confirmation page shows an empty cart message instead of the order recap, and since it works with the default Twenty theme, this points to a theme or plugin conflict with your current setup.

    Since you mentioned it works with the default theme, let’s troubleshoot this systematically:

    1. Try deactivating all plugins except WooCommerce, then test the checkout process. If it works, reactivate plugins one by one to identify which one is causing the issue.
    2. Temporarily switch to Hello Elementor default (without a child theme if used) to test. Review if you have any custom code snippets or functions altering checkout/order completion behavior.
    3. I notice your checkout page contains the [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode, but your cart page uses the cart block. This mixed setup might be causing conflicts with Elementor. Create a cart page using [woocommerce_cart] and see.

    Let us know how that goes.
