Problem with excerpt and please help in customization

Hello All,

First of all thanks for this so nice theme. I like it so much that I am going to use it for my first website (under construction). Problem is that I am very new to any CMS so not able to utilize the full potential of this theme due to limited knowledge.

I would appreciate if someone could guide/help me on below points

1. I have set the excerpt length to 30 (blog – excerpt length) but still full excerpt is displayed on the forwent (more than 30 character)

2. The description of this theme says we can create as many as header and slider bars. May I know how can we do so, i do not see any option under theme option

3. How can we control font size. The size of my post header appears too big. Can I change it from theme option. if not, where do I change?

4. It seems that if I use “Featured Posts slider” same post appears again under the Featured slider as normal post. How can I stop it to appear twice.

5. How can we assign icons to menu as our social icons

6. How to get two icons/tabs (recent post and popular post) as shown in the demo page in the Primary sidebar.

Sorry for asking these silly questions. If someone could respond I will will appreciate.
