Problem with export containing huge description and HTML

    I tried exporting our product details using your plugin but there are some plugins with description having html codes such as

    • etc.

    These description items get broken into several line items in the CSV file and creates problem when importing in excel. I have created a sample in pastebin at http://pastebin.com/sN9MF77m for your reference.

    Is there any other way that the export can be done, such as export w/o HTML or option to disable line break in same product.

    Hi XcessInfostore, thanks for raising this, HTML formatting is an ongoing drama to play well with Excel, we do strip out characters we expect to cause problems.

    Can you send me an e-mail at [email protected] with a full export of that Product minus the Product Description, then a separate txt file with the raw Product Description (with HTML) from the Edit Product screen.
