    Hello,

i want to use „WooCommerce Extra Product Options“ in combination with your Plugin „WooCommerce Multi Currency – Currency Switcher“.

Without using the currency switcher (default currency), the total price gets calculated correctly, with the tax included.
But once I use the currency switcher, it does switch the currency, but it only shows me the price without tax.

When I add this product to the My Cart, the tax is added correctly again.

I found that one of your users had the same exact problem about 1 year ago: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/variable-product-second-currency-price-failing-to-include-tax/

Is there maybe a solution to this problem?

    Thank you in advance

  • Hi,
What is the author of the Extra Product Option you are using?
Also, please let me know if you have the free or pro version of our plugin.
    Best regards

The Author of “Extra Product Option” is “themecomplete”.

I am using the free version of your plugin to test it. Once everything works fine, i want to get the pro version.

I have just figured out what exactly it calculates wrong:

    EXAMPLE:

    I have 3 Product Options:

    First Options costs: 0 Euro
    Second cost: 50 Euro
    Third costs: 450 Euro

If i select the first and second Option (0 Euro + 50 Euro) and click on currency switcher, it calculates it perfectly fine.
At the current USD rate (1.188) it calculates 50 Euro x 1.188 = 59.4 USD

When i select the Third Option (450 Euro) thats were the Problem is.

Instead of taking the full price (0 Euro + 50 Euro + 450 Euro), which would be 500 x 1.188 = 594 USD it takes the price differences of the second option times 2.

    Example of what goes wrong:

    1: 59.4 USD – 50 Euro = 9.4
    2: 450 Euro + 9.4 USD + 9.4 USD = 468.8 USD

So instead of showing the correct USD price of 594 USD it shows me the wrong calculated 468.8 USD.

So my initial though, that it didnt include the tax was wrong. It just calculates it wrong, when i have more then just 1 option.

I hope everything is clear and you understand what the problem is. Hoping for a good solution, thank you in advance 🙂

    Fixed it myself.

All options need to be Fixed Amount AND the Options need to be in different sections. They are not allowed to be in the same section.

Thank you for the detailed explanation as well as the “solution”.

However, this only helps the two plugins works together with some conditions so it’s not a good solution. We will try to contact them to ask for help in integrating the two plugins.

    Best regards.

I’m also trying to use these two plugins together. Any progress on an integration?
