Problem with FA Lite after migration

    Hi, thanks for this great plugin, I just have one question.

    I was hosting my wordpress site on a developing server and have just moved it to the server it’s gonna stay on.

    But now when I want to add a post to my slider I can’t add an image. It gives me a 404 page when I click the ‘Set custom image for this post’.

    Any idea on how to resolve this?

    What version of the plugin are you using? The latest one (2.3.7) deals with this issue. Somehow, Google Analyticator and FA Lite were conflicting before v2.3.7 but this got solved.

    If you created a custom theme for FA Lite and you update to 2.3.7, please see the changelog, there is something you will need to do to your theme.

    Using the latest version. I don’t think I have Google Analyticator.

    Also, just using the regular Light theme…

    It worked before, it just doesn’t work after migrating to the next server.

    As you can see, the old ones do work with an image still :S

    So, to understand correctly. When you edit/create a post or page and click the Set Custom Image for this post link, inside the pop-up modal window you get the 404 page?

    Also, what WP version are you using?

    Correct, latest version of both the plugin and WordPress (3.1.3).

    Other plugins I’m using:
    Capability Manager
    Events Manager Extended
    flickrRSS
    MailChimp Widget
    Search & Replace
    Utech List Post Titles
    Zero Conf Mail

    But those shouldn’t be it, they were all there before when FA lite did work.

    No, it’s not the other plugin for sure. If it worked with them before, it should work now. Can you enable debug in wp-config and see if you get any errors?

    Somehow, I’ve come to the same 404 page, this time I can see that featured-articles-lite/add_meta.php is set to inactive, while the rest of the slider is active, really weird…

    Any clue as to how I can get it back to active? Or do I need to reinstall the entire plugin?

    Soon enough we’ll launch a major update with code updates and new features. This problem already got solved, we’re using the media gallery available in wp now. Unfortunately it will take a few more weeks (at least 2) until the update will get released so please, have some patience. We do all we can to make this better and avoid all kind of errors that were previously reported.
