problem with facebook
-
Hello, I have configured the “facebook for woocommerce” plugin, the procedure is fine but in the end, when I click on the confirmation for “send for control”, an error message comes out. I contacted facebook for assistance but they say it’s a woocommerce problem. Could you tell me how to solve? Thank you.

Hi there @francescaa18
When I click on the confirmation for “send for control”, an error message comes out.
Could you share a screenshot of the page this is happening on please and also confirm what error message you are seeing?
Thanks!

This is what comes out when I confirm for “send check”. The facebook support keeps saying that the problem is caused by you and they want you to disconnect my woocommerce from facebook so as to start a clean procedure again. I have nowhere the connection between facebook and woocommerce, could you give me confirmation that there is actually nothing? Thanks.-

Thanks for your reply.
The facebook support keeps saying that the problem is caused by you and they want you to disconnect my woocommerce from facebook so as to start a clean procedure again.
If you would like to try uninstalling and disconnecting your WooCommerce store from Facebook to try reconnecting, we have a tutorial on how to do this here:
If that doesn’t work, I would suggest the below.
If your site is live, then create a clone of it in a couple of clicks using the free WP Staging plugin:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-staging/This will allow you to test without affecting your main site.
Please then disable all plugins apart from WooCommerce and Facebook for WooCommerce, and switch to a default theme such as Storefront:
https://woocommerce.com/products/storefront/
If you are able to connect this clone site to Facebook, we know there is something on your live site blocking the connection and we can perform a similar test on there.
If however you are not able to connect even on the cloned site, this suggests the issue is coming from Facebook.
In that case, if you contact them through the link I have highlighted in the below screenshot, they can assist further:

Thanks, I did a test from my test site (this is not a staging copy but a subdomain identical to my site that I use for testing) both with active plugins and disabling all plugins. I keep having the same problem in the same spot. Can you confirm that on your part there is no connection between my site and facebook? Thank you
Hi there @francescaa18
Thanks for your reply.
Can you confirm that on your part there is no connection between my site and facebook?
We’re not able to see that on our end as we don’t have access to your site or your Facebook Business Manager.
However you can follow the steps here to make sure the connection is fully removed before trying to connect again:
I did a test from my test site (this is not a staging copy but a subdomain identical to my site that I use for testing) both with active plugins and disabling all plugins
Thanks for testing this. It does indeed sound like this is coming from an issue on Facebook’s end as if a staging site with no other plugins is unable to connect then there isn’t likely to be anything within WooCommerce or Facebook for WooCommerce blocking this.
Could you please reach out to Facebook’s support team once more on the link I highlighted and explain the steps you have already tried:
Link to image: https://d.pr/i/zNK95WThey can look into it once more and see if they are able to provide any more information.
Once you have spoken to them, let us know what they say and we can look at the next steps with you here.
I am already in contact with Facebook support, which keeps telling me that you need to delete the connection from your systems. I am attaching part of the email saying that it is your fault if I cannot configure the plugin correctly.
“Good morning Francesca!
I contact you about the connection situation between WooCommerce and Facebook. I received news this morning from the relevant team regarding your account.
They explained that his data, which we see from our system, is still connected with WooCommerce. Our only problem is that we have no possibility to proceed with the disformation of WooCommerce, as it is an external platform to Facebook and for this reason we are limited.”Is there any way you can help me resolve this situation? Thank you
Facebook is saying that the problem is yours because the sales account created by the plugin does not allow deletion from facebook. I ask from you for an official response in this regard …
