Problem with Fixedheader and fixedcolumns

For some reason when I add the fixedheader code it negates my fixed column from working on my table, the fixed column works fine without the fixed header code. Here’s what I have:

[table id=soccer datatables_fixedheader=top datatables_fixedcolumns_left_columns=1 /]

For some reason it ignores the fixedcolumns code … any ideas? Thanks!
