Problem with focus keywords

    During the creation of the article when adding focus keywords do not show recommendations for SEO. For example, the Basic SEO, Additional, Title Readability, Content Readability fields display blank lines without text.

    The recommendations may still show status (showing a green highlighting that “everything is ok” or a red one that “there is something to improve here”), but overall it is extremely lame.

    The previous version didn’t have this bug.

    However, if roll back the plugin to a previous version and forget to disable automatic updates, after installing the new version will no longer be offered old versions of the plugin in “Status and Tools”.

    The problem is more often observed with keywords in Russian. In addition, the bug can occur with LSI-keywords in any language (somewhat less often, but still).

    Another bug is incorrect evaluation of the article after publication. Rank Math stopped taking into account links to external resources and blog posts.

    That’s the kind of nasty bugs I caught today.

    If you, like me, have trouble rolling back to a previous version of the plugin, try turning it off and on again. The rest of the bugs are not affected, unfortunately, but so at least you can install a previous version, until the other bugs will not fix.

    The problem is observed with different combinations, but most often occurs with keywords in Russian.

    For example, “дрэг-рейсинг,” “выжигание”. Especially when adding several keywords to one article.

    The problem is also observed with long keywords consisting of two or three words.

    Unfortunately, this does not work for any publications created after upgrading to version 1.0.82 and newer.

    Tried also disabling plugins, clearing the cache, changing the theme, but to my great regret, the bug didn’t go anywhere.

    At the same time, everything works fine with plugin versions 1.0.81.1 and older.

    I’ll try to see more settings for Rank Math, maybe I myself am missing something, but so far it looks extremely strange and unpleasant.

    Нет, Ashe Pro. Также проверил работоспособность с некоторыми базовыми темами (например, с Twenty Twenty-Two), такой же баг.

    На двух сайтах однотипный сбой с кириллицей, причём только с новой версией плагина.

    Examples of articles where there were problems with the focus keywords: one, two.

    But it is worth keeping in mind that this (lack of visual display of keyword information) works for all new publications.

    Please clear the caches from the server and WordPress after updating.

    You can disable the Beta updates once you update to the latest version and the issue is fixed.

    Thank you, updating to beta version helped solve the keyword problem!

    That said, there’s still another bug – the plugin still doesn’t take into account external and internal links added to articles. Removing transients and clearing the cache in this case did not help.

    The problem is observed in all new publications. For example, this article has both external and internal links, but the plugin does not take them into account.
