Hi, it sounds like Gutenberg has changed their way of embedding galleries again, breaking Easy FancyBox compatibility. This is not the first time this happens and probably not the last. Gutenberg is kind of a moving target at least until it comes out of beta 🙁

Thanks… i don’t use Gutenberg live for now… but keep it in the eye since i find it’s more flexible than the old editor. But yes… thank you
Question: can you share a link to your dev site where you encountered the issue? I cannot seem to be able to reproduce so it might help to see it live somewhere.

Could you go to your Settings > Media admin page and resave the settings there?
If that does not help, you may need to go into your database and delete the options table field fancybox_autoSelector manually.

That worked… but as soon as i save media settings AGAIN it will be re-created and break the plugin!
Hmmm, strange. Could you reinstall the plugin and then save the options again?

Didn’t save… that would only create it again…
Seems that the hidden field is the cause of the trouble

You may save the options again without issues.
The problem should not re-occur exactly because of that hidden field. It sets .wp-block-gallery as autoSelector, which used to be div.wp-block-gallery
This, with DIV, worked on older Gutenberg but they changed it from a DIV to a UL markup…
