My website was fully optimized and my GTmetrix score was A 100. But a few days I installed All In One WP Security. Now my score is 33% and the problem is images are not optimized. Is it possible security plugin limited some permissions and for that reason pictures to not be optimized from Jetpack?

I’m using MaxCDN too, but most probably the problem is in the security plugin.

Hi, I use this plugin with an image optimizing plugin with out any issues. What happens if you disable this plugin? Can you carry out this test and also make sure you clear your site cache if you have a cache plugin. Then carry out another Gtmetrix test?

Yes, I made this test already. But I’m thinking is there any chance security plugin to make the limitations of the writing of some folders or files and for that reason, Jetpack to not write in such folders. Also, may be after deactivation these folders may keep such limitations…

I’m using Jetpack for image optimization because this is the only plugin which works well for me. I tried with other plugins, but with out success. Which image optimization plugin do you use?

Hi, as far as I know the plugin does not control the optimization of images. I suspect something else in your site is causing this issue. Like I mentioned above I run this plugin on numerous sites with an image optimization plugin with out any issues.

Have you tried optimizing one of the images in question outside of the site then uploading that image to your site then running a Gtmetrix test.

Let me know how what happens then.

    Thank you
