Problem with Importing Comments and Categories from WP.com

    Hello,

    After I import all the comments and posts using the WordPress Import function, I see a CDATA in the comment author field. Even before all the categories, there is a ‘-‘. I searched through the forums and found a “patch”, but the thing is, my wordpresss.php and export.php files already have those patches installed.

    So why is this problem occurring and can someone suggest a solution?
