I’ve just tested it again with no errors. Could you please double check the settings:
Settings > Open User Map > General > Admin Email Notification:
Enable: on
Email address: valid email
Subject: not empty
Message: not empty
Are you using SMTP or PHP mail for sending? Do other outgoing emails work?

Website mailing is configured with server SMTP and for example contact form 7 mails works perfectly fine: https://ibb.co/NnwGTvK.

For the public: After some exchange with @monika777 via email we’ve discovered a bug which prevented sending admin email notifications.
This is now solved with Version 1.2.15
