I am trying to insert a code so I can put in an availability calendar for each innsitter.
When I just view their form, you can see it but when you view the entire directory all you see is the coding.
    Any way around this
Using WP SIMPLE BOOKING CALENDAR PLUG IN>

I tried making it a separate form field but that didn’t work either.

    Thank you

    Hi @innkeeperea,

Sorry that you ran into issues here!

When you say “insert a code”, where are you trying to do this? In what field?

BD supports the use of shortcodes in the long description field (only), but only if you enable the option to expand shortcodes under Directory Admin->Manage Options, Form Fields tab, editing the Long Description field to allow shortcode expansion.

If that doesn’t work, it’s possible there’s some kind of conflict going on. Here is an article about how to test for theme and plugin conflicts with Business Directory, which may help pinpoint the issue: http://businessdirectoryplugin.com/support-forum/faq/how-to-check-for-plugin-and-theme-conflicts-with-bd/

I put the short code for calendar I to the long description
When I view a specific innsitter list the calendar shows up fine
But when you view all listings
    https://bluemontinluray.com/innsitter/directory/?wpbdp_view=all_listings

The calendar does not show up.
Don’t know how to fix it.

Also do I set up a personal log in for each innsitter so they can edit their own calendar. I don’t want them to have access to anything but their own calendar
    Thanks

    Hi @innkeeperea,

Yes, the shortcode expansion is only supported on the detail view of the listings because of the display space we have available there. Allowing this on the list view would not work as well (we’ve tried it) so it’s not available there. That’s why you see it differently.

For editing the calendar, I don’t know how that other plugins works, so whatever they recommend (perhaps a username/password for the user?) to do editing on the list view is what you should do.
