Problem with installation

    Hi,
    I installed new version of WordPress. I uplouded all files, I made config. file, all is there on my server, but when I want to open link for installation, there is just a blank page – all files php are blank. i do not know what is wrong. My blog was runing before, but I start new installation and I deleted all old files. Is maybe here the problem? Please help me. Thank you

    I checked out the link, you have provide to me. And I see, what I done. I delete all files also this: wp-content. But I shouldn`t do this. What now?

    -You mean instead of UPDATING the old version of your installation, you installed new one?
    -What did you do with the old one?
    -This is all confusing.

    and I deleted all old files.

    -what old files did you delete? why?

    I don`t know. I was so confused, and I was thinking, that it would be better. But I deleted all files. But database still exist. Have you any suggestion?

    What is the version of your old WordPress installation?

    -Download WordPress again and replace your copies of everything EXCEPT the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory with fresh copies. This should replace your core files without changing your content and settings in wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory.

    BACKUP YOUR DATABASE FIRST.
