Hi @tuclab,
Do you use any other plugins to place the share buttons under the articles?
Thanks,
Jarno
@tuclab
Viewing the page source reveals that the HTML that is responsible for telling Twitter what image it should use, seems to be missing.
Example of the missing HTML:
<meta name="twitter:image" content="https://example-link.com"/>
Could you enable Complianz Safe mode (Complianz > Settings > Safe mode), so I can check if that changes anything?
Kind regards,
Jarno

hello @jarnovos
as for the share buttons they are always configured via jetpack.
I then enabled now the safe mode in compilianz.
Other plugins that may interfere is maybe “yoast seo”.
but I repeat that before install your plugin everything worked fine between yoast seo, jetpack and the blog.

update:
through this site I found on twitter:
https://cards-dev.twitter.com/validator
I found that all the links on the site I made give this result:
(while before it was different because I was able to automatically publish on twitter and the image came out right)
INFO: Page fetched successfully
INFO: 22 metatags were found
INFO: twitter: card = summary_large_image tag found
INFO: Card loaded successfully
it seems that now twitter card gives this data the rest looks ok
I tried to resize the images and clear the cache and redo the url check on twitter by adding the string (? utm_source = Whatever) to also clear the twitter cache but it always gives me the same result
twitter: card = summary_large_image tag found
how can i do to solve ???

Furthermore
then I confirm that the problem is yours because I have disabled compilianz from plugins and freshed the cache and now the image appears correctly in tweets
can you solve this incompatibility? at this point I’m sure it’s not a problem with jetpack or yoast but it’s your big problem with twitter card!
@tuclab do you also have this issue when “safe mode” is enabled in complianz/settings?
If so, that would tell us it is an issue with the cookie blocker. In that case it would be interesting if disabling all integrations helps.

Yes, as mentioned earlier, I have already done the test to enable safe mode and I also disabled jetpack from detection but the problem remained.
disabling your plugin now everything is back to normal and I can share the information correctly even with twitter.
You can check it too by sharing a link on twitter that now the problem, with your plugin disabled, is solved.
Can you solve or am I forced to change plugins?
Thanks for the reply
@tuclab
We have done local testing, but this issue occurs even when Complianz is not enabled. As the issue persists while Safe Mode is active (which effectively removes all the influence Complianz has on this script), I’m afraid there is not much we can do on our side to change this behavior.
I found an issue similar to the one you describe, without Complianz being installed: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/jetpack-twitter-sharing-shows-wrong-image/
Thanks,
Jarno

Hi @jarnovos, @tuclab,
The meta property og:image by Jetpack is set correctly in any instance. Retrieving this by Twitter is not blocked by Complianz, and we can’t reproduce the issue consistently on other websites.
