Problem with language settings

    I think there is a problem with translations in admin panel, if WP language different from user language.
    If you set WP language to non-english and your admin user language to english WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips will show all info in non-english, but buttons and WP order statuses on english.

    Also for exapmle in russian translation for invoice and package slip totaly mixed up. I was so confused until i understend that there is a problem with languages.

    And one more problem. If language in system non-english saved(recived invoices) have names in non-english, but they are unreadable beacuse of wrong coding. So names unreadable. It will be best live file names on english if possible.

    Just cheked russina translation file. It is WRONG who translated it switched invoice and package slip word everywhere.
    How can I help with translation?

    Hi! From what I understand, the concept of an ‘invoice’ in Russia is different from what it is in Europe, so this may need some further discussion with other native speakers about the correct term to use. I’m not sure if ‘Счет’ is a better translation than ‘Накладной’ or ‘счет-фактура’ as all three are financial documents which translate to invoice, whereas a packing slip does usually not contain any price or tax information and is merely to denote the contents of a package. So certainly ‘Счет-Фактура’ is an incorrect translation for packing slip, but perhaps ‘Упаковочный лист’ is a more appropriate term?

    I’m not a native Russian speaker and did not create those translations, but basically what I want to say is that since the concept of invoices is so different I would recommend to discuss this with some peers first.

    I don’t think that concept is so different. Plugin not tax law related. I think translator made a mistake.

    Накладная – transtortation document to a product deliverying to a buyer (from dictionary). But in plugin it is used like translation for invoice. while it is baisc «счет» invoice to a buyer.

    Счет-Фактура – document writen buy a seller, in special gov regulated form, after product transfered to a buyer, used to get a tax refund. used as shipping-slip. I agree that it can be “Упаковочный лист».

    Also what about main wordpress and admin user languages used in plugin???

    All use of счет-фактура and накладная is wrong.
