I have a link (mailto:) prefilled with address ( of course), subject and the first two lines of the body.

    Example: mailto:xxx.gr&Subject=Contact%20Me&body=Full%20Name%3A%20%0A

In primary language (Greek) works just fine. But when I try to translate it and save it, then it deletes all the special characters (%20, %3A%20%0A)

    Any ideas ?

    Hello @iliast,

    Thank you for reaching out!

If you’re using the same email link for all languages, there’s no need to translate it separately in the Translation Editor. The default language version will automatically be used across all languages. In this case, please remove the manual translations for the additional languages from the Translation Editor by leaving the “Anchor link” field empty and saving the changes. So for all languages the mail : mailto:xxx.gr&Subject=Contact%20Me&body=Full%20Name%3A%20%0A would appear instead of mailto:xxx.gr&Subject=ContactMe&body=FullName.

However, if you’d like to use different email links depending on the language, you can do this by using our Conditional Shortcodes feature: https://translatepress.com/docs/restrict-by-language/translation-shortcode/.

@iarinadasdi thank you for your help.

I’ll try the conditional shortcodes because what I want is to create an email with the same address and display “Ονοματεπώνυμο” (which in Greek means full name) and in English “Full Name”
