    Hello

In the example, the third field is the sum of the first two fields, and the fourth field is the sum of the third and the second fields.

If I manually enter any value in the third field, the fourth field calculates correctly the first time.
However, if I enter another value in the third field, the fourth field no longer updates.

How can I make the fourth field update every time and not just the first time?
    Thank you.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @massimo1971

Thank you for using our plugin. Calculated fields have a settings checkbox to disable equation re-evaluation when values are entered manually. Please untick this box to ensure the equations update automatically even when you manually enter a value.

    Best regards.

Sorry. I haven’t set anything, but it still doesn’t work.

When I write a value in the third field for the first time, the fourth field updates.
But if I enter another value in the third field, the fourth field no longer updates.

Where am I making a mistake?

    Hello @massimo1971

I guess the issue is related to your browser’s cache. I did the following test: I opened your form and video, side by side, to follow your steps. Please watch the following video:

    https://resources.developers4web.com/cff/tmp/2025/04/27/video-test_o.mp4

As you can see everything has worked as should.

    Best regards.

Okay, I suspected that. Do you have any suggestions, please?
It’s not working on my PC, even when I change browsers (Chrome and Edge) or use an incognito window.

However, I tried from my phone and it works.

I just installed Opera and Firefox, and they have the same issue.
Which means the problem is with my PC.
    Any ideas?
Could it be a Java-related problem?

    Hello @massimo1971

This appears to be a cache issue on your computer or network. If your router’s cache is the culprit, try accessing your website through a VPN to confirm.

    Best regards.

    Thank you.
I used a VPN and it works perfectly.
The problem is with the router, but it seems crazy to me.
Let’s hope that the people who will have to use it won’t face the same issue.
Do you think there’s any trick to get around this problem?

    Hello @massimo1971

No, the problem would not affect other users. Your router cached a copy of your pages prior to your change in the form settings.

    Best regards.
