Problem with Menu links in a Multisite
-
Hey!
I use your plugin in a few websites with a great success!!
First time I used it on a multisite installation. Everything works fine except from the links on the English version of the website.
https://antonios-antoniou.gr/en/
All these links redirect to the first website and the links there are not exist.
For example:
A) “BRIEF BIOGRAPHY” on top right menu https://antonios-antoniou.gr/en/short-biography goes to B) https://antonios-antoniou.gr/short-biography (404 error) which wrong. Can you help me please?
The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi,
do you use a multilingual plugin to translate the website from Greek to English or is the /en/ a separate site in the network? If the /en/ site has it’s own site in the network, possibly the home- and siteurl are set to https://antonios-antoniou.gr instead of https://antonios-antoniou.gr/en. That would explain why the /en/ goes missing.
Mark
Hey Mark!
Yes I have a multisite network and the English version is a seperate site like that: https://antonios-antoniou.gr/en
From network settings, I see that English version has both home and siteurl set to https://antonios-antoniou.gr/en
Also, I have tried to save again permalinks for both sites, but the problem still persist!
I apologize, I found the source of the problem!
I am using a plugin to make all the links relative on my website.
On the English version has a field to set Website url otherwise “siteurl()” will be used, but doesn’t take the one that I have set on my network settings. So, I put “/en/” and now it works fine. The plugin: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/make-paths-relative/
I will close the topic! Thank for your time Mark!
