Problem with More Tag

My original post has the normal Read More inserted and in Text editor looks like: <!–more–>

In the post on the new site it looks like: <span id=”more-1611″></span>

Is that normal? That converted More does nothing…

I’m using TinyMCE Advanced if that matters.
