Can you delimit your area for the plugin? You should try to limit the area. Or modify the size.
@avaldad i have tried to replace the readme.txt with one from a plugin that did not suffer from this bug, which did not resolve the problem. so i am thinking that it might be because of the index file or something? It’s very hard for me to understand what is going wrong
What went wrong is that you expected instant results from your changes, when the truth is that we use heavy caching around here and your changes would not have shown any effect for at least 6 hours.
What went further wrong is that you tried to fix it yourself almost 50 times in a row, delaying the system operation and essentially ensuring that nothing else would change properly either for the better part of an hour.
Caches are used on our systems for speed reasons. So your changes do not take effect immediately. They can take up to a day or more sometimes. Next time, make your changes, and let the system do its thing. Don’t try to interfere with it. Don’t try to fix it. And if something is wrong, then you email us about it instead of fiddling with it and making it worse. Okay? Cool.
Hi! I have similar problem, so i’m posted it here instead of creating a new thread.
My plugin was added more than 1 day ago, but description still not displayed properly.
When i browse English version or searching plugins in WP dashboard, everything looks fine.
But when i opened Russian version of site (or dashboard), description is not the same as in English.
In fact, this string “Widget for http://pulsar.online service” (http://prnt.sc/e1370l) was never pushed to SVN (you can see this in svn history) and i don’t understand, why it displayed in plugin description.
Please, can somebody tell, is plugin still caching or how to fix this?
