We have participants database, pdf image expansion and pdf recaptcha. There were 2 updates today and as soon as I updated, I now have a Fatal Error and the website is inaccessible.
This is the error message: Failed opening required ‘/home2/cliviaso/public_html/wp-content/plugins/xnau-plugin-updates/vendor/composer/../yahnis-elsts/plugin-update-checker/load-v4p13.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/cpanel/ea-php80/root/usr/share/pear’)
I am not very technical so no idea where to start to restore the website.
The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
I’m sorry for the problem it causedm but I issued an update, version 1.5.1 that fixes the problem.
Check your email, there should be a “recovery link” in the email that was sent to you by the website. Usinbg this link will allow you to access your site and update the xnau Plugin Updates plugin.
Yes I am the administrator. I have been through all emails the website owns and cannot find what you have said should be there. What is my next step please?
I have the same issue and I cannot access recovery mode via URL. I’m an administrator but not the primary. Can you post here the same instructions that were sent out through the email to the primary admin? Thanks.
It is also possible to disable the plugin remotely (thus bringing your site back onlone) using FTP. Navigate to the plugins folder (wp-content/plugins) and find the “xnau-plugin-updates” item. change the name of the item (I usually do this by adding a 0 to the name) and then you can log in to your site normally.

I have tried both methods now. I have tried adding a 0 to xnau-plugin-updates folder first then php filename and with both I get the following error when trying to access the site:
TypeError thrown
in_array(): Argument #2 ($haystack) must be of type array, bool given
With the second method, using my own domain name, this is the error:
I can’t get past the error or get access to the site login at all. Would restoring a site backup from before the update work? I will be travelling for 3 days and really don’t want to leave the site inaccessible for that time.
Even this seems to be impossible. What a day! It appears Bluehost don’t have backups available. The site will have to stay inaccessible for now. Feeling frustrated.
The error you’re seeing, there’s no indication of where this is happening, so at this point, I’m sorry to say I don’t know how to help with that. It can’t be the plugin because you’ve disabled it by changing the name.
