I have a Pods installation that was working perfectly. But for the past couple of days, I’ve been having problems with it, and some extraordinary things are happening. For example, I can’t add new fields to my existing Pods. I also can’t create new Pods. On the other hand, it’s impossible to delete some created Pods, which, by the way, although they’re in the WordPress menu, don’t appear in my Pods > Manage Pods list. I’ve cleared the cache, cleared the Pods cache, and saved the permalinks: the situation remains the same. Does anyone have any idea what could be happening and how to fix it? Thank you very much.

    • Are there any errors, such as 404 or 500 server responses when editing pods? These would appear in the browser Web Inspector console or network tabs. If so, this may indicate a security plugin or hosting security configuration is blocking Pods.
    • Were any plugins recently installed or updated?
    • Are there any other plugins running which might affect queries?
    • Does the problem change or go away if some plugins are disabled, or the theme is changed to a default theme temporarily?
    • Are there any errors in PHP error logs? Error Log Monitor
    • Is a pods.json file in use on the site? This type of configuration freezes the graphical interface for editing Pods.

If none of these point to a source of the issue, sharing a Site Health report from WP Admin > Tools > Site Health and a Pods configuration file from WP Admin > Pods Admin > Components > Import/Export Packages via the support channel at https://support.pods.io/chat/ may shed more light on the source of the issue.
