Problem with products

Hello!

I have a short question about the mqtranslate plugin. I just installed the plugin and i want to use it combined with woocommerce because i have customers from other countries aswell.

So most of the things are working pefectly but the only problem is the productpages which are kinda important. For some reason i cannot change the product discription.

I can’t edit them and when i create a new one to test it, the text just doenst appear. Hopefully you know the problem and it would be great if you could help me out. I uploaded some pictures in addition to my post.

Hi Roy,

You are not the first to ask for plugin support of Woocommerce. However, we are not users of this plugin so we will have to make some tests and understand from where the problem comes from.

I cannot guarantee we will do it anytime soon but we will try our best.

So the problem is known to you and it really is related to the woocommerce plugin? Because if i cant fill in the product discription i dont know i can use the plugin at all right now

At this time, some users have reported issues when using mqTranslate and woocommerce but we have no idea from where the problem comes from (probably from mqTranslate I guess but we have to investigate).

I’m trying out mqtranslate with Woocommerce and so far find that the products translate without problem on my test site.

Perhaps it’s another plugin causing the issue.

And http://gicha.nl/product/mix-partij-kinderkleding is one of the pages where i have the problem. I cannot edit the information near the featured picture

I’m just testing so haven’t done a lot of translation yet but if you go the the URL below and then using the language switch in the sidebar, you’ll see it will change into the Latvian page with a different description.

My only issue at the moment, is with the category headers and tags for those pages but I will be looking into that soon.

Harry are you using the normal description or the product short description (all the way down the page when you edit the product) because there is no issue with the normal description (wich is shown as a tab), only the product short description (wich is shown besides the picture of the product)

as I see in your site it seems like you don’t use the product short description but the normal one

when I install qtranslate there is no issue though there are other ones

This plugin https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/woocommerce-qtml/ was created to solve some compatibility issues between (m)qTranslate and WooCommerce.
I don’t know if it solve all of your issues but probably most of them yes.
