Problem with quick edit

    Hello,

    I have a problem when I update an existing post with quick edit. When I change the date of the post, for example, the parent is updated. But the child isn’t and everything I change in quick edit.
    When I try in the normal edit post, everything works fine.
    Do you have any idea what could be the problem?

    Perfectly normal behaviour. Since the Broadcast meta box is not visible, and indeed the normal editor is not used during quick editing, Broadcast can’t tell that something has happened to the post.

    If you want the changes broadcast then you’ll have to edit the post manually, write some custom code that detects quick edit changes or perhaps use the Rebroadcast add-on to save you some time.

    Changing the default behavior to rebroadcast is not wise since lots of people will not be expecting the change.
