Problem with Related Posts feature

    I have just installed Jetpack on my wiki, it uses the Nulis theme, actually a child theme of Nulis

    I have turned “Related Posts” on; they are displayed in the customizer but not on the web page. What can I do?

    Wordpress 4.9.8 (I think), Jetpack 6.8, Nulis 2.0.1

    Do the related posts appear properly under the Twenty Seventeen theme?

    The plugin does display on 2017 theme and now displays on Nulis.

    Not sure what happened about that.

    It seems to display some odd choices and also seems to create a list which it scrolls through when viewing the articles one at a time. i.e the first page shown shows related posts, a,b,c and the next page viewed shows b,c,d and the seem randomly selected.

    Is there anyway to tune or influence what is shown, or should this be the subject of another thread?

    Hm, that’s odd. Is Nulis the theme you want to use?

    Can you give us a link to where the Related Posts seem unrelated?

    This, http://wiki.davelevy.info/florencefirenze/ is one of my travel category articles and it has two related posts from my Games category.

    Yes, Nulis is the theme I use and I quite like it.

    But not now, I have been tidying up some of the older posts, does the algo learn?

    It looks like you’re down to one post about games; can you let us know what you did differently?

    The related posts algorithm typically matches based on categories, tags, and post content.
