Under Admin > WP External Links > External Links I have unchecked all checkboxes under “Also add to rel attribute:”.

I assume my external links will not have any of those values in REL attribute.

But if I inspect the code of the page I see that 4 banner in teh sidebar have rel=”noopener noreferrer” data-wpel-link=”exclude”. You can check this problem on the 4 banners in the sidebar under the label “TI POTREBBE PIACERE”.

Why? And how can I remove those two values?

    Thank You
    Fabio

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

Thank you for using WP External Links!

The plugin will only add the attributes you selected by checking the boxes. If you unchecked those boxes it just means WP External Links will not add them. It will not remove the existing attributes.

So I assume those links already have ”noopener noreferrer” set for the rel attribute, in which case you will have to remove them manually from the HTML.
