Problem with removal

    I am having an issue with removing the plugin. So far have tired the following.

    Disable in WordPress, then delete plugin. I received an error saying it could not be deleted. The plugin is gone from view but still shows as “active” , for instance 3 plugins active but 4 show in the number at the top

    I tried remove via FTP with error saying saying it could not be removed.

    Is there a way to remove from database? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

    Hello,

    You can remove the plugin via FTP, it is under the wp-content/plugins folder or via PHPMyadmin under the wp-options table > look for active plugins.

    Thanks. Strange that I can not remove from ftp file directory.

    This issue is also preventing me from reinstalling plugin due to the fact it says folder exists already?

    Hello,

    Make sure that the Coming Soon folder does not exist under the wp-content/plugins folder.

    It will not let you install the plugin if the plugin folder already exists.
