Problem with Short Description

Im migrating a site to woocommerce, but when creating product, im asked to add a product desc and a product short desc. For my surprise both of them are shown in single product overview. And my question is why? short desc should be shown in the product list below product name and on top of price, and the full desc in product overview. i dont see the use of having 2 descs in the same page.
