I’ve checked the images I have in the directory /img (the other 2 images that displayed properly were in the same directory). The spelling of the files were correct, and I’ve even tried uploading them again into my server. Anyone?

If you validate your site, you’ll see you have a bunch of errors, some in the page and others in the frame.

The sidebar is looking for the images here:

    /wp-content/themes/default/img/add-rss2.0.png

    and here:

    /wp-content/themes/default/img/comments-rss.png

Those files do not appear to be there.

I see – I’ve tried this validation thing. Do I simply follow the instructions and make the necessary changes they suggested? Wow…I’m learning many new things as I continue on my journey of doing up a blog…

Heh…I’ve created the folder and also transferred the files there. Solved the images not appearing problem. Wow…that was neat – all the experts are here to help me!
