Problem with slider posts after upgrading the theme

Hi,

I’ve recently upgraded this Theme and my earlier workarounds for the homepage slider don’t seem to work. I had 5 images showing up in my slider before updating the theme. http://www.marshalz.in

This was kudos to help I received on my earlier question here

There’s another thread that suggested another similar work around. However, the upgrade has rest this workaround.

Can anyone please help me get 5 slider images on my home page again?
