Problem with the ticket status filter

I have found an issue with the ticket status filter. I am using the spanish version of the plugin and I do not know if this also happends in other languages.
If I have a ticket with the word “nuevo” (new) in the ticket title and use the filter to filter for “nuevo” ticket (new tickets) the result list contains: all the tickets with new status + this ticket with the word new in the tittle.
To double check this issue, I have created another ticket with the words “En progreso” (in progress) in the title and the result list contains: all the tickets with in progress status + this ticket with the word in progress in the tille.
As far as I know this should not work in that way because the filter is to filter for ticket status, is that correct?
