• Hi there,

I’m a bit of a noob to, so bear with me. I’ve previously set up my own, and 2 other websites fine, using Doteasy servers.

I’ve installed wordpress on a friends website using Softaculous wordpress script. It’s installed wordpress onto the root directory fine. So, i’ve logged into wordpress admin, and uploaded a theme called EPROM. His server is Euhost, which apparently has all the correct server PHP, MYSQL tech installed.

1# Now, i’ve installed the theme, it seems i can’t access the Theme’s settings properly from the menu. All the setting menu’s are showing down the left hand side, but the settings are missing and so can’t access to change them.

2# When I visit the site, which should at least show a basic sample page, it just says – “Error: Your template is not stored basic settings it is necessary to work properly. Go to the “Theme Settings”, and save default settings” – I can’t even go to Theme settings and there’s no option for “save default settings”.

Has anybody else experienced these sorts of errors before, and perhaps might know what the problem is?

Is it a server side problem, or wordpress compatibility issue? Or perhaps a problem with the softaculous script on the Eukhost server?

    Thanks in advance.

    David B

  • Looks like you’re using a bad theme. Where did you download it from?

    Hi thanks for quick response.

The EPROM theme was purchased from Theme forest, so it’s legit. Also tried EGO theme too, which i’ve installed perfectly fine on my doteasy servers on two other websites i’ve built. That’s giving me similar issue with the theme settings not accessible. But for some reason on this Eukhost server, the themes are giving me problems. I don’t have much server side knowledge to know how to fix this.

    Cheers,.

    🙂

I’m sorry but as you appear to be using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developer/vendor. We do not support commercial products here.

I see. It’s ok, i’m speaking to both the server & theme people.

    Thanks for the help.
