Problem with UAE orders
-
I am experiencing an issue with the WooCommerce Checkout Manager plugin, where the Billing Postcode / ZIP field is marked as required, even though the United Arab Emirates (AE) does not use ZIP codes.
Here are the details of the issue:
- When customers select the United Arab Emirates (AE) as their country during checkout, the postcode field is not visible, but it still gives an error message stating that the Billing Postcode / ZIP is a required field.
- I have tried custom code to hide and disable the validation for this field, but the error persists when the Checkout Manager plugin is activated.
- The issue disappears when I deactivate the plugin, indicating that the problem is caused by the Checkout Manager plugin’s handling of the postcode field.
I have already attempted the following solutions with no success:
- Added custom code to hide the postcode field for the UAE and disable its validation.
- Checked the settings in the WooCommerce Checkout Manager to see if we can avoid the requiring ZIP for United Arab Emirates (AE) .
Could you please advise on how I can resolve this issue and ensure that the postcode field is not required for customers selecting the UAE as their billing country? For now we have disabled the ZIP ‘required’ option in Checkout Manager, but that is ofcourse not a solution.
Thank you for your support and I look forward to your assistance.
