Problem with update

    Hi,

    I am using the TrustIndex.io paid plugin to display Google Reviews on my WordPress website. I think I have configured everything correctly, and initially, it worked fine. However, I recently noticed that when a new review is posted on Google, it does not appear on the frontend of my website.

    The strange thing is that the new review does appear inside the plugin under the “My Reviews” tab, and I can also see it in my TrustIndex.io account. The issue is that it does not update on the frontend of my WordPress site.

    I do not have any caching plugins installed, so that should not be the issue. Could you please help me troubleshoot this problem?

    Hi @pauliville

    As a first step, please note that reviews are first updated in the system, and after a few hours, the widgets automatically refresh as well.

    If you can already see the new review on the TrustIndex admin panel but it has not yet appeared in the widget, and you don’t want to wait for the automatic refresh, you can manually update it by saving the widget.

    I can see that in the meantime, all your new reviews have now appeared in the widget. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out!

    Hi Laca,

    Thank you for your response. The update on the client’s website was taking more than two days, which is why I opened the case. However, it looks like the updates are now working correctly.

    I have a question—manual updates can only be performed every 10 days, even with the paid version, correct?

    In the free version, reviews can be manually updated every 10 days.
    However, with the paid version, manual updates are not needed as the widget updates automatically within 1 to 1.5 days.
