Problem with updates

    Last night, after backing up my entire web site, I upgraded to WordPress version 3.0.1 and to Daleri Sweet 1.0 theme, and go to bed.

    This morning I found following three problems (maybe there were more):
    1) The “About this blog column” (text and picture) has dissappeared.
    2) The several ads were not visible at all; and,
    3) There was no indication in each post of the number of visits received, something that is responsibility of the WP-PostViews plug-in, one of the most appreciated by me.

    I asked my Host to install the backup file and everything came back to normal. However I need to know whether WordPress 3.0.1 or Daleri Sweet 1.1 was responsible for those failures, and how to prevent this to happen again.
