I’m trying to upload and display some .glb files (3D heart models), but unfortunately, WordPress doesn’t allow me to upload them through the Media Library. So, I created a new folder and uploaded the files directly using my host’s file manager. However, they still don’t appear in the Media Library.

It’s worth mentioning that some of the files are quite large — for example, around 100 MB or even 200 MB — but I also encountered an error when uploading a file as small as 16 MB.

    1. Is there a file size limitation for uploads in WordPress?
    2. Is there any way to manually set the file source using a direct link from my host, such as https://mywebsite.com/wp-content/uploads/3d-files/TA-Final.glb?

    Hello

WordPress should allow this file type to be uploaded.
We have enabled support from our plugin, but it’s possible that another theme or plugin is restricting it.

    1. We’re sorry — the upload limit is being restricted by your server settings. You can increase the file size limit from your server configuration.
    2. Yes, it’s possible.

    Thank you
